This research focuses on a performance evaluation of blast resistance of RC structures with and without FRP strengthening. The main objective is to develop a design guideline of FRP strengthened RC panels under blast loads. The guideline will be based on the results of FE analysis which has been verified with the results from blast tests. The difference in behavior of RC panels strengthened by using FRP under static loads and blast loads will be highlighted.
